12th July 2013 - iTunes Release, YouTube Video Release, Live Show @ Studio 6

That's right, on the 12th July (which also happens to be Jabs birthday) we're going to be doing a whole lot. Check the teaser video below..

So Firstly, BAYSIDE. will be released on iTunes with the 5 original tracks featuring VC, Semantic and Hometeam. This release will also include some bonus tracks and remixes by Elephant Mouse which are going to blow your mind.

On the same day, the video we premiered at the BAYSIDE. Launch Party (which features the EP tracks: Alright, My City and Lardy Dardy) is going to be released to the masses on  our YouTube channel.

Oh yeah, and this too:

We'll be supporting not only Sydney Hip-Hop kings Spit Syndicate, but also Empire Rising, Bustacap and MC Freeza live on stage at Studio 6 Sutherland. This show is ALL AGES and LICENSED so everyone can make it out to catch us. We'll be selling our BAYSIDE. CD's (which also feature 5 tracks of Best Of The Bay.) as well as limited numbers of our BAYSIDE. t-shirts.

Post Launch Update - Lardy Dardy FREE on Triple J Unearthed

So, the launch party went well.. 

BIG thanks to everyone that came out for it, especially those pledge partners who collected their rewards on the night. Also DJ Prolifik, VC, Oakbridge, Semantic and DLB of Hometeam for helping the show be more spectacular than we could have made it on our own. Also, Rugby League Legend (and current NSW Blues Coach), Laurie Daley made an appearance, which was pretty special.

We now have CD's available as well as limited numbers of shirts which will be available at upcoming live shows, so come and see us for a financial exchange.

 

In the meantime, Lardy Dardy is the first single from BAYSIDE. and is available on Triple J Unearthed as a FREE download, so click on the image above and leave flattering comments and ratings, as it may help us get some radio play.

BAYSIDE. Launch Party 17th May

Thanks to the generous support from the following people, we reached our pledge goal last November:

The funds from this has gone towards a number of things, including:
The recording, mixing, mastering and replication of the CD BAYSIDE
The making of the BAYSIDE video
The printing of a limited edition press of BAYSIDE shirts

To celebrate and thank all of our pledgers, they are invited to attend The BAYSIDE launch party where all pledge rewards will be presented, the BAYSIDE video will be premiered, and the 5 song EP will be performed in its entirety for the first time featuring special guests.




 

All pledgers (as part of their reward) are granted free entry (for a $20 pledge, they receive a +1 entry for $50 or more).
The launch party will be open to all fans to attend (please RSVP on Facebook) and will cost $10 entry or $20 with a copy of the BAYSIDE CD.

Our own DJ Bobby Digital will be starting the night off spinning tunes from 7pm, followed by DJ Prolifik at 8pm
Then from 9pm we will have the video premiere, presentations of pledge rewards, and the exclusive performance of BAYSIDE.

BAY SIDE. Pozible Crowd Funding Campaign

In the past 5 years we have had a number releases which have all been available free on our website at bandcamp and we hope you have enjoyed them.

As a bookend to the the journey you've joined us on so far, we will be releasing an EP which is the process of being made, entitled BAYSIDE which will have an accompanying video, and we also plan on releasing merchandise to go with it.

Here's where you come in:

We were going to put this out for free download like the rest of our releases, but decided this deserves something bigger. We want to accompany the EP with a 5 track best of featuring 5 of your favourites from the last 5 years from different releases, and as the duplication, production, mixing, and mastering process costs money up front, we'd like you to pledge and be a part of raising the funds to make all of this happen. We want to know that the product we're going to pay to produce is wanted by you, our fans, friends and family.

We also don't want to end up with a box full of shirts in the garage that nobody wants, so this crowd funding campaign will basically be a pre-order for a limited edition 5 year CD release and merchandise.

We aren't trying to make a profit - the money will all go towards paying those helping us record the music, design the artwork, produce the CD, print the merchandise, and promote the release in order that we can expand our audience and you can brag about to everyone saying that you were a part of our team before we sold out.

I think you'll find there are pledge options available for you no matter the depth of your dedication to the Wreckers.

5 Year Anniversary Show October 21st

Firstly, a BIG thanks to everyone who has supported us over the last 5 years, the promoters, bands, engineers, designers etc. who mostly did us favours for free and also to the fans who came out to shows for no other reason but the fact that they enjoyed listening to and watching us. Even bigger thanks to the mates who came out who didn't enjoy it that much but came out anyway.
For all of you here is an anniversary gift, a free download of our song LIFE CYCLE, spread the joy around and ride it for another 5 years.. PEACE
